Privacy notice
Your information
This notice explains what the Inside Out Survey collects, why it is used and the choices you have. It is a practical general notice and not tailored legal advice.
Last updated 19 September 2026.
Who is responsible
Ged Equi is responsible for the personal information handled through the Inside Out Survey. You can contact Ged at hello@gedequi.com.
What we collect
We collect the name, company and job title you enter, your survey answers and any business numbers you choose to add. If you create an account, we also collect your email address and sign-in information. Google handles your Google sign-in credentials when you choose that option.
How we use it
We use this information to calculate your score, prepare your report, keep your check-in history and respond if you ask about a consultation. The usual legal bases are taking steps at your request, providing the service and our legitimate interest in operating and improving it.
Where your results are stored
Before you create an account, results are stored on your device. If you create an account and import them, they are stored securely in Lovable Cloud and linked to your account. Your results are private to you. We do not sell them or share them with other businesses for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Device results remain until you delete them or clear your browser storage. Account results remain until you delete them. We may retain limited records where the law requires it or where needed to resolve a dispute.
Your choices and rights
You can view and delete account results from your account. You can delete device-only results from the results screen. UK data protection law may also give you rights to access, correct, restrict, object to or request a copy of your personal information. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your data is handled.
Emails and consultations
The survey does not add you to a marketing list. If you choose to email about a consultation, your email service sends the result summary shown in the message. Ged uses it to respond to your request.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect account information. No online service can promise absolute security, so use a strong, unique password and keep your sign-in details private.
